Parks & Facilities

Villa Park is home to a wide variety of parks and facilities that cater to all kinds of outdoor activities and community events. From playgrounds and picnic areas to serene ponds and scenic walking trails, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Our parks feature baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, and plenty of open space for recreational activities. Many of these spaces are also available for rent, making them perfect for family gatherings, sporting events, or special occasions. You can explore the different parks and their amenities, view their individual calendars, and easily check availability for rentals online. Whether you're looking to relax, play, or gather with friends and family, Villa Park offers the ideal setting for your outdoor experience.

Memorials and Tree Adoption

The Parks & Recreation Department offers a Memorial Program to celebrate occasions, honor individuals, or remember loved ones. You can purchase a tree, bench, or brick to dedicate at one of our parks. Options include various tree species or benches, and there is an additional fee of up to $100 for placement on the Prairie Path due to permitting by DuPage County. Costs cover purchase, planting, and upkeep; residents must purchase their own plaque.

Residents can also adopt a tree, which is purchasing a tree to plant in either a Village park, parkway (public right-of-way), or the Sugar Creek Golf Course. If you would like to adopt a tree from one of our Parks, a leaf with your dedication will be placed at the Village Hall's board room.
