Early Childhood, Preschool & Childcare

Children in our Preschool and Funtime Junction Child Care Programs will learn through interactive play. Basic skills are taught that will develop their creativity as well as their educational and emotional well-being by qualified and caring instructors in a friendly atmosphere. The program's curriculum is geared to teach children the skills they will need to enter Kindergarten. Both programs are licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

Preschool

Our preschool program is for children 3, 4 and 5 years of age. We encourage the growth and development of your child at his/her individual level through varied activities and experiences. Our goal is to supplement and extend early home experiences in an environment planned to further each child's development through play and learning with their peers.

Preschool Registration

General Registration forms and information for the 2019-2020 school year are now available for pick-up at the Iowa Community Center as well as below under the Preschool Information/Forms section. No tuition is due when submitting a preschool registration; only an $97 non-refundable registration fee and a copy of the child's birth certificate.
