Day Camp runs from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.

We offer sunrise/sunset extended care options for Junior, Senior, Teen, and Sports camp; these come at an additional price.
Sunrise Camp hours are: 7:30 - 9:00 am
Sunset Camp hours are: 4:00 - 6:00 pm

Summer Camp
Day camp is primarily outside at the Villa Park Recreation Center. We also utilize Jefferson Pool. Campers will be off-site on their designated field trip days but will return to the Villa Park Recreation Center before pick-up time.

Summer Camp
Registration for Jr. Adventure Camp, Adventure Camp, and Mini Adventure Camp as well as Sunrise and Sunset camp must be done either online or in person at the Villa Park Recreation Center (320 E. Wildwood Ave, Villa Park). Online registration is available for all options but must be done the Thursday before a new session by 4:00 pm.

Summer Camp
Families may choose to pay in full at the time of registration or enroll in a payment plan. A payment will be due at the time of registration to secure your child’s spot. The remaining balance will be automatically deducted from the payment method on file on May 21 and June 4.
Payment plans are available for both full summer (10-week) registrations and weekly camp options.
Payment plans must be selected at the time of registration and are available for registrations completed on or before May 11.

Should any camp session fill, a paid waitlist will be created.

Summer Camp
The full Summer (10-week) discounted rate is non-refundable. Weekly registrations are eligible for a full refund when cancellation is requested at least five business days prior to the start of the next session. A 20% administrative fee will be applied if request is received within four or fewer business days prior to the start of the session.

Summer Camp
Camp groups are formed by age group. We will take friend requests and elementary school attendance into consideration, but it is not guaranteed. There will be opportunities throughout the day for all camp time.

Summer Camp
Please pack a backpack for your camper with any items you think will help them have a successful day. It is a requirement to pack a lunch, water bottle, and sunscreen daily. Other items that may be brought: bug spray, snacks, hats, sunglasses, goggles, extra clothes, etc. Please make sure ALL items are labeled with your camper's first and last names.
On swim days it is required to have your camper bring their swimsuits and towels. On field trips days, campers are required to wear their camp shirts.

Villa Park Parks & Recreation proudly partners with Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association (NEDSRA) to offer recreation services to participants. NEDSRA support staff is available to work alongside program participants. You may request NEDSRA support during camp registration. There will be a section to fill out for any special accommodations.

Jr. Adventure and Adventure campers field trip day is Wednesday unless otherwise noted in the weekly curriculum calendar.

Upon registering for camp, your receipt will include a camper emergency information form and a medications and allergy packet. You will also receive an ePACT link. ePACT is a website for secure information, including emergency contacts, authorized pick-ups, medications, allergies, etc.

The Day Camp Parent Handbook is mailed out the week before the next session of camp. This will also be accessible on our website in Mid-May.
