Parks & Recreation

April 4, 2020

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker has extended the state’s stay-at-home order and school closures through April 30, in order to keep the spread of COVID-19 from overwhelming the healthcare system.

As a result of this continued mitigation effort, VILLA PARK - Parks and Recreation (VPPR) will extend the cancellation of all programs, events and rentals through April 30, 2020, with the exception of new online activities and an emergency daycare center for essential workers. Participants will be refunded or credited for any and all cancellations.  The Community Recreation Building (CRB) at 320 E. Wildwood and the Iowa Community Center (ICC) at 338 N. Iowa Ave., are closed to the public.  While programs and events are cancelled, VPPR will continue to operate and staff will be available via phone and email during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

We continue to ask for your patience as we navigate this unparalleled global event. This is a quickly evolving, fluid situation and we ask you to return to this page for updates.
