Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of the brand-new Villa Park Recreation Center (VPRC). This state-of-the-art facility is designed to bring the community together through fitness, fun, and connection. The ribbon cutting ceremony begins an exciting new chapter for the Village, offering amenities like the gym, versatile activity spaces, and programs for all ages.

Don’t miss this special event as we cut the ribbon today, Monday, January 13 at 5:30 pm and celebrate this milestone for the Village. We are excited to see this building become a vibrant hub for the community and look forward to serving the residents of Villa Park for many years to come.

Shortly after the ribbon cutting ceremony, the Village Board of Trustee’s meeting will take place at 7:00 pm at Village Hall. The regularly scheduled Committee of the Whole meeting has been moved to Monday, January 27 at 6:00 pm. Staff have been preparing for the upcoming implementation of BS&A enterprise resource planning software. With this transition, there will be a change in how residents view, make payments, and manage their autopay for utility billing. January 20 is the last day for residents to make payments using the current system, Xpress Bill Pay, or over the phone. From January 21 to February 2 as the Village implements the new software, no credit or debit card payments can be accepted for utility bills. Starting February 3, residents will need to create new accounts through BS&A for their payments, autopay, and paperless billing. There will be a utility payment grace period to accommodate the system change. Information has been sent out in the December utility bill notices and more updates regarding the new payment software will be sent out in January and February billing. Residents can also visit the Village website at invillapark.com/billing for the most up-to-date information.
