Join us for the public’s best opportunity to provide feedback in person on the Comprehensive Plan! The Open House will be held on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 at the VRPC Multipurpose Room from 5:30 to 8:00 pm.

The Comprehensive Plan is a critical document for guiding land use and future development. As required by Illinois law, this plan helps inform zoning decisions and ensures growth is conducted in a thoughtful, non-arbitrary way. The last update was adopted in 2009, making it the perfect time to refresh our approach for the next 20 years.

Your input is essential in shaping the future of our community. The plan will serve as a roadmap for growth and development, outlining specific actions to help achieve the Village's vision. This is your chance to share your thoughts and help steer the direction for the next two decades. Public comments are open now through March 14th.
