Free Leaf Collection
Just a reminder that free leaf collection will run through the week of December 1. Collection times change. Make sure refuse, recycling, leaves and yard waste are set out at the curb no later than 6 a.m. on collection date. Village ordinance allows items to be set out after 7 p.m. the evening before collection day.
Reminder: During the free leaf collection dates leaves in garbage cans MUST have a prepaid yellow yard waste tag. The free leaf collection is only for leaves in paper yard waste bags.

Villa Park welcomes a new business, Edward Jones Investments located at 36 S. Villa ave. It celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting on October 18. Welcome!

Kiwanis Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser
Join the Kiwanis club of Villa Park for a spaghetti dinner fundraiser Friday, November 15 from 5 - 6:45 p.m. at Willowbrook High School. After dinner join the Willowbrook Drama Department for their Mamma Mia! show (tickets sold separately).
Tickets for the spaghetti dinner are $7 for adults / $6 for teens / $4 for children ages 6-12 and free for children under 5.
Proceeds will go to special projects to help families and children of the community.

Upcoming Villa Park Public Library programs and activities
The library has a variety of activities and programs for all ages over the next month, including the following (more program details and registration information can be found at the Villa Park Public Library for each of these programs):
- Local Author Showcase: Fri, Nov 1, 7:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Meet local authors and purchase their works. If you are a local author who would like to participate, contact Denise Kuhr at 630-834-1164. Light refreshments will be served.
- Friends Fine Out Fundraiser: Weds, Nov 6, 10:30 a.m.- 11:00 p.m. Dominick's Pizza and Pasta will give back 20% on this date to the Friends Bring a printed flyer!
- Crafty Creations with Gilda: Weds, Nov 6, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Program Room A. The project for this month is a ceramic snowman platter.
- Eat, Drink, and Be Murdered- Friends Mystery Play: November 8-10, 7:00 p.m November 7-9 and 2:00 p.m. on the 10. Join the Friends for the play, "Eat, Drink, and Be Murdered!" Tickets are $12 in advance; $15 at the door. Location program room A & B.
