Public Input Meeting 

The next Public Input Meeting will be this Saturday, January 15 at 9 a.m. in the Village Hall Board Room.

In preparation of this meeting, you can review information pertaining to the current status of the $10M grant, supporting documents, background information and documents shown during previous Community Input Meetings here: http://www.invillapark.com/764/In-Motion

As we continue to see a rapid increase in the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we encourage residents to review all options for participating:
1) Participate in person, make sure to wear a mask, use hand sanitizer and maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from others.
2)Participate from the comfort of your home using the zoom link on our website, the Village's YouTube channel or your local cable access channel.
3) Email in your comments using the editable form (on our website) to be read into the public, regarding what amenities should go into a proposed rec center to gregg@invillapark.com and/or tcpoulos@williams-architects.com. Note: to be read into the public comment during the meeting please submit your email by 5 p.m. Jan. 14 / Jan 19.

Please note, due to our YouTube policy, NO live input will be accepted via YouTube. To have your comments read into the public, please plan to either attend in person OR submit your comments via email before the deadline.

Live Christmas Tree Recycling

Live Christmas trees will be collected through next week January 21 on your regularly scheduled pickup date. 

Trees will be recycled, so please ensure all ornaments and lights have been removed and the tree is not in a plastic bag. 

Broken or old Christmas lights can be recycled at the Electronics Recycling event, held on January 15 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Public Works Garage next to Village Hall.

Library COVID Vaccine Clinic

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic  

The Villa Park Library will be hosting a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Tuesday, January 25 from 4-8 p.m. at the library. 

Pfizer and Johnson&Johnson vaccines will be available to all eligible ages as well as Booster vaccines. Note: those receiving the booster will need their vaccine card. To save time the day of, please register here. 

We're Hiring! 

The Village of Villa Park Fire Department is currently seeking qualified individuals for the position of Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedic. 

To apply, applications are available at Fire Station 81 located at 1440 S. Ardmore in Villa Park or online applications can be completed by clicking here. Username is: public@villaparkvillage.com and password is public

National Hobby Month

Every year during the month of January, people across the U.S. celebrate National Hobby Month. Enthusiasts around the country share information about their hobbies with friends, try new hobbies that interest them, and dive deeper into the hobbies and activities they love.

The Parks & Recreation Department can get you started on a new hobby this month and all year long. Check out the Winter/Spring brochure for information on all the fun classes you and your children can take here.
