Upcoming Important Days:

Village Board Meeting** - June 22 || 7 p.m. || Village Hal
Electronics Recycling - June 20 || 9 a.m.-12 p.m. || Public Works Garage

** The Village appreciates the public's patience and cooperation as we attempt to reduce the spread of COVID-19 by observing healthy social distancing practices.

If members of the public are interested in attending the Board Meeting in person, and are symptom free, social distancing and adorning a proper face covering will be utilized to mitigate the community spread of disease. Attendance will be monitored at the door.

New Billing System

As of July 1, 2020 the Village will no longer be using Payment Service Network (PSN) as our payment service. Our new online bill pay provider Xpress Bill Pay (XBP) saves you time and gives you more flexibility in how you pay your bill. With this new program, the Village will be absorbing all credit/debit card fees to encourage residents to pay online.

Follow the Village's social media and website for updates on how to sign up.

Scam Alert

Scam of the Week: Phony COVID-19 Tracking

Countries around the world are developing COVID-19 tracking applications for mobile devices. These apps use digital tracking to help identify and notify users who have been in contact with someone diagnosed with the virus. Only a handful of countries have released this kind of app to the public, but cybercriminals are already using them as inspiration for scams.

The bad guys are sending phishing emails and smishing attacks (phishing via text messages) claiming that you have been in contact with someone diagnosed with Coronavirus. The message insists that you get tested and it includes a link that supposedly leads to a website where you can sign up for more information. The truth is, the link takes you to a malicious website that is designed to steal any information you enter and deliver it to the bad guys. Don’t be fooled!

2020 Census

Have you filled out your 2020 Census? This year, you can fill it out online, by phone or by mail. Villa Park's response rate is currently 74.6%. Have you filled your out already? Check in with your friends, family and neighbors to see if they need help filling theirs out.
