Villa Park Police have identified an offender following a string of car burglaries that occurred Monday (Nov. 2, 2015) night, but residents are reminded to always lock their car doors.
Overnight on Nov. 2, 2015, four car burglaries were reported in the 600 block of South Summit Avenue, one was reported in the 100 block of East Madison Street and one was reported in the 800 block of South Euclid Avenue. All of the cars involved were unlocked.
Villa Park detectives have identified a juvenile offender and charges are pending through the juvenile court. While the offender has been identified, residents are reminded to always lock their car doors.
