Firefighter's Pension Fund Board

Responsibilities

This commission administers the pension fund and designates the beneficiaries for Fire personnel.

Duties

Powers and duties include: control and management of the pension fund; order and direct the payment of pensions and other benefits to the persons entitled; submit annually to the village a list of persons entitled to payments; and invest funds of the pension in accordance with state statutes.

Members of the Firefighter's Pension Fund Board meet quarterly. Meetings typically occur at the Villa Park Public Library, 305 S. Ardmore Avenue at 5:00 pm.
