To significantly improve the condition of the roadway by removing the existing deteriorated pavement and replacing it with a new structurally sound pavement. A portion of the project includes storm sewer that will reduce the frequency of surcharging of the combined sewer system.
This project consists of the reconstruction of Astor Court from Summit Avenue to Myrtle Avenue and Myrtle Avenue from Park to Highland, and includes storm sewer construction. Some selective water system and sanitary sewer system improvements are also included.
The Village's pavement management program has determined that the condition of the street has deteriorated to the point that pavement rehabilitation is needed. This project is to be partially funded by voter approved bond proceeds.

|November 22, 2017|| A proposed amendment to the Phase II design engineering agreement with RJN Group is expected to be submitted for consideration at the Board Meeting on 12/04/2017. The amendment would add the design of South Euclid Avenue from Kenilworth to Central and Park to Highland to this project.
|November 9, 2017||A resolution related to the IEPA loan for the Astor/Myrtle combined sewer separation will be presented to the Village Board on 11/13/17.
|July 7, 2017||Consultant is working to prepare Phase II Plans and Specifications including IEPA loan documents.|
