heartsaver cpr/aed CERTIFICATION IS ONLY BEING OFFERED
IN THE BLENDED LEARNING FORMAT
The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED Course covers core material such as adult, child and infant CPR and use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED) for the lay person and non-healthcare professional. Always check with your employer to find out what class you need before registering.
The Villa Park Fire Dept. is offering the Blended Learning format which includes an online course for cognitive learning followed by a hands-on skills session for Heartsaver CPR/AED. The Blended Learning option includes an online course for cognitive learning followed by the hands-on skills session that is taught by Villa Park Fire Dept. CPR Instructors.
The hands-on skills portion is 30 minutes in length and is taught at the Villa Park Fire Dept., and must be completed within 30 days after receiving the AHA online completion certificate. After the successful completion of the skills portion, students will be issued a 2-yr. certification ecard. The fee for the hands-on skills portion is $40.
