Healthcare Provider CPR Class

The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR Course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation for healthcare professionals.

Typical Participants include:

  • Nursing Students
  • Emergency Medical Techs (EMT-P)

Classes are taught by trained Villa Park Fire Dept. paramedics. This is a full class and includes a student workbook. After completion of the class and passing score on the written test, each student will receive a 2-year certification e-card; therefore a valid email address is required. Cost of class is $65 and must be paid in advance. Check or cash payments can be accepted at Fire Station 81, 1440 South Ardmore Avenue in Villa Park. No credit card payments can be accepted.

Classes are held at the Iowa Community Center, 338 North Iowa in Villa Park.
