The Community FUN Commission (Focus on Unifying Neighbors) advises the President and Board of Trustees on matters relating to the overall image of the village, including physical beautification, public relations, and coordination and promotion of volunteers and volunteerism within the village.
Powers and duties include soliciting donations for the physical beautification and enhancement of the image of the village, coordinate a volunteer program and encourage volunteerism, recommend activities which will accomplish its intents and purposes, prepare pamphlets concerning its goals and objectives, sponsor and coordinate a village "Clean-Up Week," and encourage neighborhoods to work together through formation of homeowners’ associations, or neighborhood improvement groups.
The Community F.U.N. Commission meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m., on the second floor of Village Hall. Nine members serve three-year terms.
