The Village of Villa Park's 2010 Water Quality Report is now available for review and download. This report covers the period from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010. The Village is required by the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to issue this annual "Consumer Confidence" report to customers detailing information on the water it provides.
The Village of Villa Park will be performing its semi-annual watermain flushing operations beginning on Monday, May 16, 2011.
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will be resurfacing Illinois State Route 83 (Kingery Highway) from North Avenue (Illinois Route 64) to Butterfield Road (Illinois Route 56).
The Village will be applying for funding assistance for its proposed North Yale Water Main Improvement Project under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. A public hearing has been scheduled to discuss the details of both the proposed project and the grant program.
The Village is in the process of commencing construction on the Terrace Street / Douglas Avenue Stormwater Detention Pond Project. In accordance with Illinois EPA regulations, the Village has prepared a Notice of Intent (NOI) regarding the project.
The Village of Villa Park typically provides its residents with free brush and leaf collection every fall. This year's free collection period will begin on Monday, October 19, 2009 and extend through Friday, December 4, 2009.
The Village of Villa Park owns and operates a separate sanitary sewer collection system, combined sewer collection system, and a wet weather flow treatment facility. As part of the responsibility of operating the collection systems and wet weather flow treatment facility, the Village has committed to notifying the public of any untreated discharges of wastewater to Salt Creek.

Waste Management has informed the Village that there will not be garbage service on Friday, July 4, 2008. Residents that currently have Friday service should place their waste containers, recycling and landscape waste at the curb on Friday night for pick-up on Saturday, July 5, 2008.
The Village of Villa Park is pleased to support Bike-to-Work Week, an event sponsored by DuPage County, the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation, and other host communities, which promotes bicycle commuting to work the week of June 9-13, 2008.
