Trustee Blankensop has been a life long resident of Villa Park. Born in 1964, Trustee Blankensop attended Benjamin Franklin Elementary School, Jefferson Jr. High School, Willowbrook High School, and has been a home owner in Villa Park for the last 12 + years. During his youth, Trustee Blankensop enjoyed several competitive years in Villa Park Youth Baseball, Willowbrook HS Football, Basketball, and Baseball.

For the last 21 years, Trustee Blankensop has dedicated himself to one company of employment - NEC Display Solutions of America, Inc. As Director of Business Development, Mr. Blankensop is responsible for conducting research on new market opportunities for his company. Once identified, Mr. Blankensop develops products and solutions to meet the requirements of these new segments, in addition to developing go-to-market strategies for his company to successfully achieve sales and marketing goals through the Americas. Mr. Blankensop is also the Director of Stewardship at Trinity Lutheran Church, Villa Park.
