    The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners appoint all sworn officers of the fire and police departments, except for the police chief and fire chief. The members serve terms of three years.

    The Fire and Police Commission meets on the fourth Thursday of each month, at 7 a.m. The meetings take place in the conference room, on the second floor of Village Hall.

  2. Environmental Concerns Commission

    The Environmental Concerns Commission advises the president and board of trustees on matters relating to the preservation, protection and improvement of the environment, including the quality of land, air and water.

    The Lions Club of Villa Park meets the second Thursday of each month at noon at Hi-View Restaurant, 425 St. Charles Road in Villa Park. The Lions Club also meets on the last Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Villa Park Public Library, 305 S. Ardmore Avenue.

  3. Earth Day Cleanup on the Prairie Path and Great Western Trail

    April 29, 2017, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Villa Park Historical Museum

    On April 29th, 2017 from 9 a.m.-noon, the Villa Park Community Pride Commission will be sponsoring the Earth Day Cleanup on the Great Western Trail and the Prairie Path. All organizations, clubs, churches, schools, boy/girl scouts, residents, etc. are invited to roll up their sleeves and volunteer to pick up litter along the trails from Addison Avenue to Villa Av/Route 83. Sign-in at the Villa Park Historical Museum at Villa Avenue on the Prairie Path. Water, snacks, garbage bags, rubber gloves and a backpack will be given to each volunteer. Remember to dress accordingly. Hope to see you there rain or shine, sleet or snow.
