  1. Butterfly Release and Habitat Planting

    Do you want to help plant a butterfly habitat? If you want to give back to the community, join us when we plant native plants along the Great Western Trail to build habitats for butterflies and to make the trail a beautiful place to walk, run, ride bikes and enjoy!   2. Welcome Home All Veterans at the VFW

    September 23, 2017, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM @ Villa Park VFW

    Join Welcome Home All Veterans on September 23, 2017 from 9 AM to 6 PM for the 7th Annual Veteran Benefits Event being held at the Villa Park VFW located at 39 E. St. Charles Rd. Admission is FREE and everyone is invited to attend. The purpose of this event is two-fold. First is to educate Veterans and their families about the changes to Veteran benefits that few Veterans are aware of. Second is to celebrate with Veterans and provide an opportunity for people to show their support to our military and the opportunity to say “Thank you for your service”. This event can only be described as a one-of-a-kind event to benefit Veterans. The event, which originated in Villa Park in 2010, provides on-site resources to learn about Medical Benefits, Retirement Benefits, VA Sign-up and more.   3. Villa Park Brewfest

    September 23, 2017, 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM @ Cortesi Veteran's Memorial Park

    Join the Village for its first Brewfest on Saturday, September 23rd at Cortesi Veterans Memorial Park (318 E. Kenilworth)! The festival will be held from 2:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. for General Admission ticket holders. Multiple ticket packages are available, including a Gold Pass package for $59 that includes early entrance at 1:00 p.m., a food ticket and use of indoor bathrooms. General Admission tickets are $40 until August 18th and $45 beginning August 19th. $15 Designated Driver Tickets are also available. This event is 21 and older only.   4. Rotary Club Meeting

    The Villa Park Rotary Club was chartered November 6, 1971 as a community service organization dedicated to serving the local and international community. The Club has been responsible for many community improvements, including the gazebo along the Prairie Path, Rotary Park, two play lots, and the clock at Park Boulevard and Ardmore Avenue. The club's current international project is in support of construction of bore wells and a small medical center in a rural area of Kenya.

    The Rotary Club of Villa Park meets at 12:15 p.m. every Tuesday at Crazy Pour, 105 E. North Avenue in Villa Park.

    The Kiwanis Club of Villa Park is a service organization comprised of caring men and women from all walks of life. The club's objective is to bring aid to children in need. The majority of Kiwanis fund raising activities benefit children in Villa Park and surrounding communities. A portion of funds raised by the Kiwanis Club of Villa Park helps Kiwanis International objectives which focus on the special needs of young children from prenatal development to age five. Kiwanis Club of Villa Park welcomes anyone interested in serving others.

    The Kiwanis Club of Villa Park meets every Wednesday morning at 7:15 a.m. at Hi-View Restaurant, 425 W. St. Charles Road in Villa Park. The club hosts speakers to share information about organizations, happenings and events. Newcomers and visitors are welcome.
