Villa Park Police Seek Information Related to Home Invasion

On Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 at 7 a.m., Villa Park Police officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of North Wisconsin for a home invasion. Officers located the victim, a 64-year-old Villa Park resident, who reported being confronted by an individual in her home.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, between 20 and 30 years of age, 5'7", medium build, wearing a red or burgundy t-shirt and blue colored Hawaiian-type shorts.

The offender removed several small-value items and fled the area on foot in an unknown direction of travel.

The Villa Park Police Department is requesting anyone with information concerning this matter to contact Detective Sergeant Lyons at (630) 592-6117.
