Villa Park Police and Fire Honored by District 45 Students

Destination Imagination event

Villa Park Police Chief Bob Pavelchik and Officer Tim Walsh, along with public safety personnel from Villa Park Fire, Lombard Police & Fire, and York Center Fire, all participated in the School District 45 “Destination Imagination” program, Sunday, Dec. 6 at Jefferson Middle School in Villa Park.

The purpose of the “Destination Imagination” program is to inspire and equip students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders. The District 45 DI students organized their community event to honor the local public safety personnel and fundraise for local charities.
