The 11 members of the board meet at 7:30 p.m., on the first Thursday of each month. They meet at 1770 West Centennial Place, in Addison, Illinois. Each term served by the board members lasts three years, and one of the 11 members is a representative of Villa Park. NEDSRA provides comprehensive recreation programs for handicapped individuals of all ages in the 11 area communities.
The business of NEDSRA is managed by a Board of Trustees, in accordance with the articles of agreement between the 11 public agencies. The NEDSRA Board of Trustees shall establish all major policies, including but not limited to, budgets, capital outlay, and a master plan. The board shall also approve all contracts, and employ an executive director to carry out the policies of the board.
